  The Lok Sabha on December 21 suspended three more MPs — Nakul Nath, Deepak Baij, D.K. Suresh — for the remainder of the Winter Session on December 21. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi moved a motion to suspend the three Congress MPs for misconduct and storming the Well in the Lower House. The suspension was passed via voice vote. Suspended MPs 3 opposition MPs  were suspended on December 21, 2023 2 Lok Sabha MPs  were suspended on December 20, 2023 49  Lok Sabha MPs  from the Oppostion were suspended on December 19, 2023 33 Lok Sabha MPs & 45 Rajya Sabha MPs  from the Opposition were suspended from the Parliament on December 18, 2023 13 Lok Sabha MPs & 1 Rajya Sabha MP  were suspended earlier on December 14, 2023 Democracy Suspended   #aapkaamitkumar

AAP volunteers meet - amit kumar aapka

  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, even if he is arrested. He further told his party workers, "I'm not afraid of going to jail." Addressing an AAP 'karyakarta sammelan' (congregation of workers) in Delhi's Tyagaraj Stadium, Kejriwal said, "For a revolutionary, jail is an adornment. I stayed in jail for about 15 days. It doesn't make any difference to me. We are not greedy for power, he added." He further said that he had no lust for the chief minister's post, adding, "I am probably the world's first chief minister who resigned after 49 days without anyone asking me to do so." He also told his party workers to visit every household in the city and ask people about their views on whether he should continue as chief minister, even from jail, if it comes to that, or resign.
